Supergrip

uhlsport SUPERGRIP – the grip of international professional goalkeepers

The uhlsport SUPERGRIP is considered one of the best adhesive foams among goalkeeping experts. For years, the international stars of the top leagues have relied on this grip. Lukas Hradecky, Odysseas Vlachodimos and Alphonse Areola are just three examples of professional goalkeepers who have been consistently delivering exceptional performances for years thanks to their uhlsport SUPERGRIP goalkeeper gloves.

Professional grip with innovative "High Grip" particles – made in Germany

SUPERGRIP is a further development of previous professional adhesive foams such as the ABSOLUTGRIP. It contains specifically developed "High Grip" particles which give the palm its extraordinarily good adhesion and gripping power. The grip is achieved by an advanced foam composition, based on high-quality natural latex, and is developed and manufactured in Germany. When developing this high-performance foam we always have the best processing and material combinations possible in mind – for the benefit of all goalkeepers. The SUPERGRIP is a prime example of the innovations with which uhlsport actively shapes modern goalkeeping and its materials. In the uhlsport shop you will find various SUPERGRIP models, including those from the DYNAMIC IMPULSE collection.

How to use and care for SUPERGRIP goalkeeper gloves

To make sure that your goalkeeper gloves with SUPERGRIP stay in their best condition for a long time, there are some things you can do for the persistence of the grip. With a little care and attention you will enjoy them for a long time and keep a clean sheet for your team. First of all, SUPERGRIP is optimised for grass pitches. To give it its superior adhesive properties, its composition is a rather soft foam with integrated grip particles, which makes the palm rather sensitive. This is why the grip lasts longer on soft surfaces, i.e. grass turf, than with regular use on hard surfaces. If you want to wear the SUPERGRIP on artificial turf or hard pitches, this is also possible, but then the next two points are even more important: your technique and the care of the goalkeeper gloves.

Sensitive adhesive foams perform extremely well on the ball, but are susceptible to abrasion. When landing after a save and when standing up, there is often contact between the foam and the ground. Be careful not to rest your entire weight on the foam and, most importantly, avoid rubbing the foam against the ground. If you rinse the goalkeeper gloves regularly after each session and each match (and also before the first use), you will benefit from the SUPERGRIP for a long time.
