Professional advice: how to activate your goalkeeper gloves
After the purchase and prior to the first use of your goalkeeper gloves you should wash your gloves. This way, you remove production residues from the goalkeeper glove and activate the foam. Simply immerse the football gloves in clear water, for example in the sink. Leave them for about two minutes. When your gloves are soaking wet, squeeze all the water out, working from the fingers along the middle towards the bandage. Why should you do it exactly this way? It will prevent the velcro or other hard parts of the glove from damaging the foam of the palm. Repeat once more and let them dry. Avoid direct heat and sun - don't place them on the heating or the window sill. The natural latex could become porous and break down. Ideally, you hang your gloves on the clothes line or lay them flat to dry.
