The uhlsport history.

Since 2006 SALA describes our product line for Futsall. uhlsport has dedicated its sub-brand SALA to this particular version of indoor football.

Since 2006 Espanyol Barcelona plays completely equipped with uhlsport products.

In 2005 uhlsport celebrates a successful year. MSV Duisburg, Pavel Nedved, Carlo Cudicini, Gregory Coupet, AJ Auxerre, CSKA Sofia and the national team of Jamaica make a contribution amongst others.

In 2004 we win Robert Enke (www.enke1.de) over us.

uhlsport’s Pavel Nedved inspired Juventus to the Italian Championship.

uhlsport’s Francesco Toldo helped Inter to 2nd place and Champions League qualification.

MSV Duisburg, Blackburn Rovers and Vitesse Arnheim play completely in uhlsport products.

The sales of the uhlsport GmbH from the family Uhl to the family Daiss causes a repositioning of the brand. As "football specialist" we make an effort meeting the requirements of football.

1995-1998: Hamburg SV plays completely in uhlsport outfits, likewise AC Florence ( at that time with Stefan Effenberg).

With the introduction of our football boots we achieve the status of a complete soccer equipment supplier.

In 1993/1994 uhlsport begins the additional manufatcure of football shoes.

1993-1997: SC Freiburg played in complete uhlsport outfits, from 1995 on also wearing uhlsport soccer boots.

From 1991-1994 I.FC Kaiserslautern (German Champion 1991) played completely equipped with uhlsport products.

Bodo Illgner becomes World Champion with Germany.

We achieve an international breakthrough by contracting Inter Milan, at that time with Lothar Matthäus, Andreas Brehme and Jürgen Klinsmann.

Walter Zenga is named best goalkeeper in the world.

Inter Milan, completely equipped with uhlsport products, becomes Italian champion.

In 1989 APG gloves and ACT football inner tubes (bladders) were patented and successfully launched on the market.

In 1987, we award first time the uhlsport trophy ”Best goalkeeper in the World”. It goes to Jean-Marie Pfaff, FC Bayern München.

For the successful introduction of the TRI-CONCEPT technology in footballs uhlsport holds a patent.

Uli Stein with HSV, become European Cup winner against Juventus Turin in Athens.

Dino“Nazionale“Zoff becomes World Champion with Italy.

uhlsport now concentrates on football and achieves the position of market leader, specializing in goalkeeper`s equipment, thereunder goalkeeper`s outfits and gloves.

In 1972, the UEFA Cup was played for the first time.

From 1970, the success of goalkeeper`s gloves is clear. Today a goalkeeper without gloves is unimaginable. Hereupon uhlsport increases its product range. In addition to sports shoe components, shinguards, sport bandages, footballs and goalkeeper`s gloves play a growing role at uhlsport. Ski security straps are also available.

From 1968, more and more goalkeepers were wearing special goalkeeper`s gloves.

uhlsport begins additional production of football soles for sports shoe manufacturers and becomes one of the leading suppliers of sports shoe components.

Acceptance of the German Soccer Association (www.dfb.de) in FIFA (www.FIFA.com).

The World Soccer Association (http://www.FIFA.com)  lifts the prohibition of German soccer teams. This decision pushes also the uhlsport GmbH in 1949.

Founding of uhlsport GmbH (www.uhlsportcompany.com). Our original business? Manufacture of leather studs.
